My outdoorsy husband has been hunting MANY of times with NO success. This last hunting season he finally shot his first deer. It is not the biggest deer ever, but he is proud... and so am I! (mostly I'm excited that I don't have to hear him complain about never being able to shoot a deer anymore! YES!)

I'm glad you started a blog. It is a good way to keep a journal / photos / recipes / etc. all in one place. Plus it's great for keeping in touch. I want to see pictures of your little girl! Hopefully someday we'll have one of those.....

Nice deer Stu!!!! I know Danielle loves it so much she wanted a recipe to make your average beef taste like venison. Now here's a good way to make beef taste like venison:
Drag cow thru sagebrush and dirt.
Hang in the sun for a couple days.
Marinate in high grade motor oil overnight.
Season with gun powder
Then grill on your BBQ that has leftover plastic shards still stuck to it.
