Poor Mitchell...He is always injured. I seriously just finished paying off his last emergency room visit and we are already back. So Mitch was just running in a race, fell down, landed on his elbows and broke his collar bone, yep you heard right, BROKE his collar bone. It's miserable! They can't do anything for it except put it in a sling. Mitch is left handed and it is his left side, so he can hardly do anything by himself. The whole rest of his summer is shot, since he is so into riding bikes, swimming, and any sport. He rarely complains...I appreciate that, but I hurt everytime he winces with pain. The cutest story is Braden was feeling so bad and the next morning he went in and was holding Mitchells hand while they talked about what happened. I love seeing that kind of thing. All my boys are best of friends, it's so great.
Feel better soon my boy! In the mean time I'll get the check book ready for the medical bills AGAIN.

I know how you feel!!! Aubrey had a broken collar bone when she was just over a year. Plus on father's day Kimberly broke her LEG, as you will see in my most recent post! Hope they both get better soon!

So sorry Mitchell, and Danielle. That's a miserable thing to have happen at the beginning of summer! I have no idea why, but my boys haven't broken any bones yet. We've had some stiches though. I know it's only a matter of time before something major happens. I'm trying to prepare myself.
I love Braden pinewood derby car. What a great idea! And I'm jealous about your trip ALONE with Stu. How would that be?

That is too bad. Jeff broke his collar bone in college and he says it was awful. It sounds like you've got a pretty tough boy there. Thanks for posting the pics of the costumes!

I was impressed to hear you knee boarded 8 months prego. SERIOUSLY? You go girl. I can hardly get up and down the stairs;O)
I´m sorry, but holy moly!!! How do you just fall down and break you collar bone? That kind of talent has to come from your side of the family! I hope he is feeling better soon.

Ouch, I have broken BOTH of my collar bones...not fun...at all. BLAH, poor kid! At least he will have a fun story right?! :)
Tell me about it! I feel your pain with the medical bills! We have had MAJOr medical bills from this last year and we are paying, paying, paying every month! But in all looks like you guys are having an awesome summer! Hope he heals up fast, no more injuries!
