I have a fairly bad habit of being TOO BUSY for my own good. One of the things that suffers is my eating habits.I think that I have been living off of string cheese and otter pops for too long. Stu can always tell when I haven't eaten all day because I get extra extra grumpy. He always is telling me to sit down and eat something......Speaking of Stu.....
This is a SIDENOTE:
I never posted anything about how great of a Dad/Husband Stuart is for Fathers day so here you go hon'!
Stu is absolutely THE BEST FATHER on the earth (sorry everyone else) I'm serious though. I don't know any dad that can do what he does with our kids. He is their hero and mine too. I love him more than anyone will ever know and I don't know what I would do without him.
Anyways, back to my original post,Earlier this week I seriously had 4 string cheeses (sick I know) and 3 otter pops and that is all. Does anyone have any appetizing, easy and quick to prepare, healthy food/snacks that I can eat on my super busy days?

I am totally the same way. I usually just snack on the kids left overs and then forget to eat a real meal. That sure explains why you are so stinkin' skinny though!
string cheese is not a bad thing at all, its up there in the good healthy snack category, so good for you! The snack of choice for me lately when I dont take time to eat are those chocolate covered pretzels from Costco, so addicted to those right now! I think the question should be what unhealthy snacks do we grab when we dont have time to sit down and eat!? So funny, runnin around and not takin the time, sounds all too familiar to me!:)
Skinny and grumpy...Or fat and happy which one is better...HMMMMM??!
Today I had one slim fast (rich chocolate royale) two cupcakes (from the primary carnival) and the icecream man just drove by... so I just purchased a Vanilla chocolate icecream stick. SOOO my point is this, once you find those healthy yummy snacks and fills in's for actual meals, let me in on it!
I keep a bag of hershey's caramel kisses in the medicine cabinet of the kids' bathroom to give one to Will whenever he successfully goes on the potty, but I always find myself sneaking some whenever I'm in there giving the kids a bath, or whatever.
I love granola, and make it homemade (well, I am going to, so dar I have been eating what my grandma makes). So it is so easy to grab the bag of granola out of the freezer (I like it in there), get a cup {small... kid's Ikea size, or you will not be so skinny anymore, haha, yeah right :)}and grab a yogurt and eat them together. Healthy and satisfying. This is what I usually eat for breakfast, almost every day. And whenever I am too lazy to make me something. Beats pb&j!

Do you run? Exercise a lot? I was noticing that you have great legs. OKay that sounds interesting, but really, you guys were talking skinny and eating habits, so I was just wondering. I am trying to get better, but its hard sometimes... you seem to bounce back to skinny after each kid, and so fast. You either exercise a ton or have great metabolism!
So is that the trick to being skinny like you?! If so I am going to try it. haha:)
Does diet Dr. Pepper count? Ha. We have a magic bullet (which is AWESOME) and make smoothies in the morning with milk, yogurt, flax seed, protein powder, veggie powder, and frozen fruit. Takes 2 minutes and you can take it on the go. We also snack on almonds and craisens a lot.
I always thought that you were just lucky that you could eat whatever you want and be skinny. Now I know that its because you starve yourself! Just kidding--sort of! :)
Danielle,

You guys look like you are doing good and loving St. George huh? Check us out sometime, I would love to keep up on your cute little family. Please tell Stu hi ok? Hang in there and start eating some real food okay! Have a good one.
