So after over 2 hours of working on the cake made from scratch and only 1 and 1/2 pieces (that was not enough for how much work I put in)for myself this is what happened to my coconut cake. I'm trying to just laugh, but.....
And yes I wash red plastic disposable cups...you can't be too thrifty ha ha ha!

The cake looked and tasted awesome. But in all reality the best part was (for me) the thought of the kids shoving there faces with cake. How many times did you wish that you could do that? I still would like to do that sometimes. It also makes for a great story and memory.
hahaha that reminds me of a story...when I was in elementary my mom spent forever making this cute pony cake for me to take to class. She put the lid on it and I guess I was supposed to carry it in my hands, but I put it in my backpack...so when my mom finally realized that (when we got to school) The cake was completely smashed and everywhere! I felt soooo bad! Hahah but then you can laugh about it!
Okay, trust me--if we didn't have out little tag along friends we totally would have came to see you guys. We were bummed when we found out all the Squires girls were there and all the Ingersoll girls too and we couldn't hang out with anyone!!!! NEXT TIME FOR SURE!! xoxoxo
Isn't it always something?! I love that other people have complete random disasters like that. You must laugh...that is all that you can do.....and clean it up I guess!! You really should call me sometime when you come here. We live in Lehi. I am sure that you are bombarded with family stuff when you come but it would be so much fun to catch up!
Oh I just can't stand that! Did you scream or cry? Its so sad that its funny. I love the cake stand though. Its pretty. It was a gorgeous cake. I'm impressed. Love you!
Oh that is so sad. I would be so bummed. But hey I guess kids will be kids, right?
Oh my gosh! That is hilarious and NOT at the same time. I would be soooooo mad, you definitely have a good sense of humor. Your cake was gorgeous, while it lasted! And hey, I guess the bright side is you were not tempted to eat half of it yourself, right??? (that is how I am)
